Who this covers
DentMemo is used by a dentist or a clinic. The clinic decides what patient information goes into it. DentMemo stores and processes that information so the clinic can use the service. Patients themselves do not have accounts.
What we handle
- Account details you give us: your name, clinic name, email address and phone number.
- Records you enter: patient names, contact details, ages, visit dates, diagnoses, treatments, notes, follow-ups and any other text you choose to type in.
- Basic operational data needed to run a web service: sign-in times, device and browser type, and error logs.
What we do with it
We use it to provide the service, keep it running, back it up, and support you when you ask for help. We do not sell your records, and we do not share them with advertisers or use them for advertising.
Who can see it
You and anyone you invite into your clinic account. A small number of DentMemo people may access data where it is necessary to operate the service, investigate a fault, or respond to a support request from you. DentMemo runs on third-party hosting and infrastructure providers, which means your data is stored on their systems on our behalf. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Your responsibilities as a clinic
You decide what to record and you remain responsible for handling patient information lawfully where you practise, including any consent, disclosure or record-keeping duties that apply to you. Please only enter information you are entitled to hold.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the service and the data in it. We do not claim any certification or regulatory compliance we have not obtained, and no internet service can guarantee perfect security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will tell you.
Keeping and deleting data
We keep your records for as long as your account is active. You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account and its records, by writing to thejusj90@gmail.com. Backups may take a further short period to cycle out. We may keep limited records where the law requires us to.
Cookies
The app uses cookies or similar storage to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. This website does not run advertising trackers.
Terms of use
Agreement
By creating an account or using DentMemo, you agree to these terms. If you are using it on behalf of a clinic, you confirm you are allowed to accept them for that clinic.
What DentMemo is, and is not
DentMemo is a record-keeping and reference tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not diagnose, advise on treatment, or make clinical judgements. All clinical decisions and patient care remain entirely yours. Do not rely on DentMemo as your only copy of a record you are legally required to keep.
Your account
Give accurate information when you sign up, keep your login details private, and take care over who you invite into your clinic account. You are responsible for what happens under it. Tell us if you think someone else has gained access.
Your content stays yours
The records you enter belong to your clinic. You give us permission to store and process them for the sole purpose of providing the service to you.
Acceptable use
- Do not use DentMemo for anything unlawful, or to store information you are not entitled to hold.
- Do not attempt to break into, disrupt, copy, or reverse engineer the service.
- Do not resell or provide the service to others as your own.
Availability and changes
DentMemo is an early-stage product provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. It may be interrupted for maintenance or fixes, and features may be added, changed or removed. We do not promise uninterrupted service or that the software is free of faults.
Payment
If DentMemo introduces paid plans, we will tell you the price and give you notice before any charge applies to your account.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, DentMemo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of data, and our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
Ending your use
You can stop using DentMemo at any time and ask for your data before your account is closed. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or if we discontinue the service, and we will give reasonable notice where we can.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Updates
We may update these documents as DentMemo develops. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and material changes will be notified to account holders by email.
